Welcome Wave Morocco

A Wave just launched in Morocco!

Today, on 7 July 2026, we got to enjoy Sustainable Innovation Fest in Casablanca!

Wavemakers United and Enactus Morocco signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), a formal agreement outlining how we’ll work together, to launch Wave Morocco: a youth-led push for clean, safe and sufficient water for all, built by Moroccan students, for Moroccan communities.

It started in November 2025 at the Dutch-Moroccan Water Days, hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Rabat. One introduction turned into a partnership, and today, at the Sustainable Innovation Fest in Casablanca, we made it official.

Enactus Morocco has spent years building a national network of young entrepreneurs, students and educators who know how to turn ideas into local impact. Wavemakers United brings a global water movement of students, young professionals and athletes across the world, plus direct links to universities and partners like AUC, Nuffic Southeast Asia, International Water Association Japan and Stellenbosch University.

Put those together and you get Moroccan youth with the tools, network and platform to lead real water action, locally and globally.

This is also a concrete step toward our Water Action Agenda commitment: one million guest lectures on water for children and young people, every year.

We’re not looking for spectators. We’re looking for builders.Â
