This Thursday, Joey Louws and Sophy Willemsen proudly represented Wavemakers at the career event at the Stopera in Amsterdam.
It was an amazing opportunity to connect with students and young professionals who are about to start their professional careers.
We need all the bright minds to keep up with the Dutch water problems, but the water sector in the Netherlands is aging. The core business of the Dutch wave is to stimulate the inflow of young people in Dutch water-related (mbo, hbo, wo) education and make them enthusiastic about the blue work field.
At the career event we introduced youngsters to Wavemakers United with the aim to inspire them to choose a career within the water sector.
We witnessed incredible enthusiasm at our stand and many signed up to become a Wavemaker!
We can’t wait to work together to make waves for a better future!
