Earlier this month during the National Climate Week, Meinke gave guest lectures in this new role to various primary schools. During these lessons she discussed the difference between weather and climate, explained what the greenhouse effect entails and showed how you can make a big impact at a young age by dedicating yourself to your passions.
Meinke: “It was incredibly inspiring to brainstorm with the children about their ideas for sustainability. Moreover, it was impressive to see how aware and well-informed they already are about climate (of course all praise to the teachers for this!). It is and remains a pretty heavy subject, but tomorrow’s generation is bursting with creativity and enthusiasm for the future, and that is fantastic (hopeful & giving) to see!”
Well done Meinke! On to more quest lectures!
