Last week Tilly Stroo represented Wavemakers United in New York at the UN Water Conference Stakeholder meeting.
President of the General Assembly, Csaba Kórösi, urged participants to discuss gamechangers from the perspective of ‘solidarity, sustainability and science’. This call to action describes the stakeholder consultation, which had a huge emphasis on gamechangers, innovations and collaboration.
The urge is big and we need every innovative idea to stop the ongoing water crises all over the world. We are happy Wavemakers United, together with IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and in close collaboration of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, are contributing by organizing the UN2023 Gamechanger Challenge.
