First Swimmable Cities Summit!

Swimmable Cities is an initiative dedicated to the transformation of the Urban Waterways. Launched in July 2024, it unites various organisations and promotes urban swimming culture and raise awareness of the water sacredness. Swimmable cities are working towards resilient, connected communities and clean city rivers. 

We are happy to announce that Rotterdam, the Netherlands, was selected as a very first host of the Swimmable Cities Summit. It is going to take place on June  22-24. Wavemakers United are very proud of participating in this historical event!

Together we support the growth of a global movement for transforming urban water ways and accelerate waterway restoration and water quality.
