Wavemakers United held a session on Young Minds in the Water Sector. The three panelists, Liliane Geerling, (Partners for Water), Frodo van Oostveen, (World Waternet) and Tova Chrystal (IHE Delft Institute for Water Education & Youth for the Rhine) and moderator Gijs van Nes (Evides & Wavemakers United) discussed youth involvement in the water sector.
The main take away: challenge the status quo! In the Future Water Leaders pavilion students and young professionals explained their challenges on finding a job, being part of the discussion and making impact.
The conclusion according to the panelists: youth have the power to change the system if they speak up and take action.
