This year edition of the European Youth Parliament for Water (EYPW) was dedicated to Water and Biodiversity. 100 young people from all over Europe came together to strengthen their knowledge and make concrete commitments to protect both water resources and biodiversity in their communities.
The Wavemakers United team’s focus was clear — actionable solutions. We shared best practices, learned from various experienced experts, and visited some sustainable water management projects. Through collaborative discussion we created and adopted a Common Commitment Declaration to unite youth voices and drive transformative change across borders. Our pillars of action include youth empowerment, transboundary cooperation, science-based policies, nature-based solutions, and sustainable water use.
