From January 19th till January 25th our representative, Joey Louws, participated in a series of engaging sessions during Youth for Water and Climate in Budapest, Hungary.
The Open Day at Lentiz MBO Westland on January 23 was a great success. At the World Horti Center, visitors met students, teachers, and professionals, all sharing a passion for water management and sustainability. As Wavemakers United, we were proud to contribute to this event with interactive activities that highlighted the versatility of water management.
Wave of Egypt has achieved a new milestone – they launched the Wavemakers Student Club Initiative. It is a crucial step towards youth empowerment end sustainable future.
We are beyond proud we were able to represent Wavemakers United during many international events. The most memorable ones are the 2nd and 3rd ‘Future Is Now’ events!
We are beyond proud of the youth led local consortia, a.k.a. ‘Waves’ that are currently successfully running in various countries. We would like to reflect on their achievements and highlight their success.
What a year has it been for our Wavemaker ambassadors! Let’s take a moment to appreciate their ambassadorship and recognize their outstanding achievements.
After winning the challenge last year Meinke also became ‘Climate Mayor’ of the city of Hengelo in The Netherlands.
