Wave of Egypt: After joining the panel discussion at the ONLY GREEN TALKS – Water Conservation Workshop we got inspired to start our own Wavemaker Innovation Hub
What a magical day at the 10th World Water Forum!
We officially launched the Wave of Indonesia!
As part of this new Wave of Indonesia The Water Agency organized the Bali Raincraft challenge where students from all across Indonesia have been asked to use the power of Minecraft to tackle water and climate issues through innovation and collaboration for the Bajra Sandhi Monument and Lapangan Puputan Renon Area.
Founder Tilly Stroo signed a LOI on such a significant platform as the 10th WWF in whichIndonesia and the Netherland demonstrate their ongoing investment in youth participation and collaboration!
While Wavemakers United can be found in Bali for the 10th World Water Forum we also took the opportunity to give a guest lecture on water for the local school SD n1 Tanjung Benoa!
On April 22nd, Wavemakers United (Egypt Wave) hosted a day-long celebration of Earth Day at the Anna Lindh Foundation. The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders to discuss water security, education, and diplomacy in relation to our planet’s most pressing environmental challenges.🌱
We had the honor, together with IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, to meet and engage with a group of school students from India. The children (all age between 12-15) competed in the flagship project of the Rotary Club of Madras – the so called ‘Wings to Fly 23-24 – Chennaiyin Climate Change Champions’.
