Great achievement for athlete ambassador Scipio Houtman and his partner Willemijn Offerman.

Together with over 100 young leaders, Wevemakers United team tackled some of the toughest challenges in water and biodiversity: climate change escalating water crises, pollution, and the critical loss of ecosystems.

The event aimed to increase the participation, leadership and prosperity of women in technology by focussing on STEAM education.

During Cairo Water Week our South African Wavemaker Odwa Mtembu, representative of the department of Water and Sanitation, led the ‘Implementation of the Youth’ session, where the chairman of the Wave Egypt, Moustafa Abdalla was one of the speakers.

The Indonesian Wave, a youth-led ecosystem, continues to make waves in the water sector in collaboration with Nuffic Southeast Asia, and The Water Agency. Together they aim to empower young people to address water challenges.
