The 1 MAP initiative applied for the ‘Best Practises’ program for the World Expo in Osaka 2025! This program disseminates high- quality projects that solve important global issues and embodies the theme: “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”.
This selection means the 1MAP, the biggest postcard in the world will be on the official website and will be displayed in the Best Practice Area. So fingers crossed!
Besides the ‘Best Practise’ Wavemakers United is also part of the TEAM Expo 2025; a participatory programme created by people from all over the world, with a variety of teams and activities to take up the challenge of making a better the future for Expo 2025 and beyond.
About the 1MAP in short:
The 1 MAP is one of the ideas of the UN2023 Gamechanger Challenge and educates and mobilize global university students to conduct awareness sessions on water-related issues in schools for children. The program equips university students with the necessary knowledge and tools to deliver guest lectures and encourages young students to share their dreams, thoughts, ideas, and plans on water-related issues using specially designed postcards
