‘Design for Good’ Workshop Netherlands

On the 22nd of March we celebrated International World Water Day by working on more water action and hosted the ‘Design for Good’ workshop in the Hague the Netherlands!

The workshop was  in collaboration with RVO and support from Liliane Geerling (Partners for Water) and together with students from the IHE Delft, Hogeschool Zeeland, TU  & UVA we discussed the framework for collaborating water topics around the world in local consortia.

This workshop had a special focus on the establishment of Wave Indonesia because he output of the workshop will be used to set up the wave in Indonesia, which will officially be launched during the 10th World Water Forum 2024 in Bali.

Indonesia was therefore represented online by Sabrina Farah Salsabilla (Nuffic) and Nishchal Sardjoe (Deltaris) who will both play an active role in realizing this new wave in Indonesia.

During the workshop the students got divided over 3 tables discussing each a different topic regarding the wave in Indonesia: education, innovation and capacity building. The students saw a lot of obstacles but also many opportunities and concrete solutions on how to make an impactful youth movement.

The local support and enthusiasm for the Wave Indonesia is significant, as indicated by the output of the Design Workshop for Good and we can’t wait to officially launch the wave during the World Water Forum in Bali!

Thanks once again to all the students and everyone involved!
