We had the honor, together with IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, to meet and engage with a group of school students from India. The children (all age between 12-15) competed in the flagship project of the Rotary Club of Madras – the so called ‘Wings to Fly 23-24 – Chennaiyin Climate Change Champions’.

On April 16, Wavemakers United organized a workshop in the Netherlands at the so called ‘Vakdag’ at Ons Water, where professionals come together to exchange knowledge and experiences to further develop and maintain their craftsmanship. This years theme: Water- conscious into the future’
During National Water Month (March) the Wave of South Africa has educated 1285 youngsters on water by visiting 15 schools across the Western Cape through guest lectures!
After a successful pilot edition in 2023, we are organizing free educational water labs for the second time this spring at various ‘climate squares’ in the Netherlands.
The new Wave was launched last weekend during the Sport Expo on Bonaire, where kids on the island can try out different sports. We got involved by introducing sailing and windsurfing to the kids.
On the 22nd of March we celebrated International World Water Day by more water action and hosted the ‘Design for Good’ workshop in the Hague the Netherlands.
