Chairman of the Wave of Egypt Moustafa Abdalla represented Wavemakers United in the Egypt EU Investment Conference last week that has been co-organized by the European Commission and the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Conference was held at the Al Manara International Conference Centre in Cairo Egypt to explore transformative business, trade and investment opportunities within Egypt’s evolving economic landscape.
The Egypt-EU Investment Conference has brought together leading policymakers, industry experts, and influential business leaders from Egypt and Europe.
We were pleased to see that new agreements were made between Egypt and the EU on investments for youth skills, child protection, health sectors, food security and pollution abatement and decarbonization.
On the last day of the event, Moustafa Abdalla represented Wavemakers at the networking recepetion of the Dutch embassy and met with Mr. Mostafa Ezz Elarab, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports to discuss the potential collaboration between Wavemakers United and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Arab Republic of Egypt within the capacity of Egypt Wave project.
The discussion included the modalities of collaboration and signing a Memorandum of Understanding during the upcoming Cairo Water Week this October, and more importantly how to unify and magnify efforts to enable, empower, and building the capacity of the Egyptian youths throughout training camps, international events, and exchanging programs between Europe and Egypt.
Wavemakers United Foundation values the collaboration with the Egyptian government and believe in its vital role in achieving a huge success on the ground.
