The world is in dire need of bright minds and bold ambition to accelerate actions that help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in 2030. Water can be the dealmaker of dealbreaker within this acceleration – an asset that deserves the world’s utmost attention. That’s why the Wavemakers United Foundation joined the second ever United Nations Water Conference in New York from the 22nd until the 24th of March 2023. A watershed moment, co-organized by the Kingdom of The Netherlands and the Republic of Tajikistan.
The week was filled with highlights of events and session, in- and outside on the United Nations Head Quarters. This week was a landmark for the water sector.
