WMO Hydrohub Youth Symposium

Wavemakers Eva den Boer en Daphne van der Vaart represented Wavemakers United at the WMO Hydrohub Youth Symposium in Geneva. 

 

There we some great keypoints about including youth in decision making processes by goverments. 

 

Aurélie Rodzynek, representative of the Youth Parliament for Water and Jan Kairel Guillermo, representative of the United Nations International Federation of Youth for Water and Climate (Un1fy) gave a great summary of the day with the take outs:

 

“Youth is the future so it’s important to include youth in decision making processes . Progress is beiing made but there is still a lot of work to do”.

 

Wavemakers United can not agree more. We have to invest, educate and involve them in innovating ideas on sustainable water resources management
