Between the 10-20 August worlds best sailors were fighting for the medals right in front of the beach during the Allianz Sailing World Championship in The Hague the Netherlands. Besides the sailing competition many side events were organized. We’re grateful we were able to host a 10 days waterlab and we managed to educate over 1500 children on water.
Next to educating them through our waterlab, our partner DOB-Academy organize a great clinic on wind energy. This clinic was about ‘how to build your own blade’ for a wind turbine and only proud happy faces were seen when the children saw their wind turbine actually worked!
Thanks to our parners, missie H2, DMEC, DOB-academy, Watersportverbond, Ons Water, Rijkswaterstaat en gemeente Den Haag this event was a big succes.
