After a successful pilot edition in 2023, we are organizing free educational water labs for the second time this spring at various ‘climate squares’ in the Netherlands. We are joining our forces again with Tuinbranche Nederland and Ons Water to draw more attention from young people to climate adaptation and specifically the greening of gardens.
During these green water labs the kids learn how they can make their own environment, such as their own backyard green again!
Why? 👇🏻
Because when stones tiles get replaced for gras, flowers and trees, it will be more climate resilient. It support the biodiversity, can keep the temperatures lower in summer and can retain water for dryer periods!
Our Green Water labs can be found this season at 9 different locations throughout the country and they have room for six classes every day, but many locations also have part of the day available for free walk-in and after-school care.
Nuenen had the kicked off on the 26 of March which was a great success!
