Tilly Stroo and Moustafa Abdalla has represented Wavemakers United at the 8th Cairo Water Week 2025 in Egypt last week. During the celebration of 50 years water collaboration between the Netherlands and Egypt Wavemakers United and Partners for Water kicked off the Young Champion Challenge 2025 for Dutch and Egyptian Students to co-create solutions for water challenges through cross-sectoral collaboration.
Wavemakers has celebrated the successful challenge launching at the Dutch Ambassador CWW Reception at his residence in Cairo.
Wavemakers has also been generously and warmly welcomed by the The American University in Cairo and the The British University in Egypt to discuss the potential collaboration and how to empower the Egyptian youth in the water sector and be the changemakers!
Cairo Water Week was a great success and promising start to empower youth and foster collaboration with the Egyptian institutes.
