This week, Tilly Stroo traveled to Brussels. She joined a stakeholder workshop on the European Union’s preparations for the 2026 UN Water Conference in Abu Dhabi.
Our founder and Director explored how Wavemakers United can work even closer with the co-chairs and youth water organisations across countries.
Real impact for clean and available water for all will only happen if we collaborate across sectors, generations and borders and if we keep innovating together.
Wavemakers United is ready to contribute as a complementary force to the ambitions of partners such as UNESCO Water Youth Strategy and the Global Youth Movement for Water Fill up the Glass, with a strong focus on Interactive Dialogues 5 and 6: multilateral processes, investment, innovation and capacity building.
Let’s make sure no one is left behind and that the outcomes of the 2026 United Nations Water Conference do not end in a summary, but become the start of lasting collaboration towards the next UN Water Conferences.
