Our advisor, Mathieu, was invited as a speaker in the national online webinar “Strengthening Swamp Irrigation as a Pillar of Food Security: National Policy & Lessons Learned from Indonesia and the Netherlands.”
Indonesia holds 33.4 million hectares of swamp land with enormous potential to support national food security. The webinar explored how effective irrigation management can transform these landscapes into productive agricultural zones, boosting yields, supporting self‑sufficiency, and improving community livelihoods.
Mathieu shared perspectives on lowland water management, offering practical lessons and collaborative opportunities for innovation. His contribution highlighted how international knowledge exchange can accelerate sustainable solutions for climate‑resilient agriculture.
