The first phase of the Dutch–Egyptian Young Champion Challenge (YCC) 2026, “From Knowledge to Execution”, has officially concluded.
Following the E‑School training, teams were challenged to translate learning into real‑world action through guest lectures.
Over 200 teams of young innovators delivered more than 100 guest lectures, mobilizing communities across both countries, and reaching over 3,500 students through hands-on activities and digital campaigns. Activities aligned with the topics such as water management, smart agriculture, climate change, and AI for sustainability.
- 135+ Peer‑to‑Peer Education Sessions: Youth teams organized guest lectures, workshops, and localized awareness events across schools and universities.
- 3,500+ Students Reached: Through social media campaigns and the “1 Million Postcards (1MAP)” initiative, participants amplified climate awareness across both countries.
Final results will be announced by June 20, along with details for the pitching camp and the grand finals at Cairo Water Week 2026.
As we look ahead to the pitching camp and the finals at Cairo Water Week 2026, one thing is clear:
